World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is a crucial part of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and enhancements of items.
They also offer bonuses and improvements. They can be purchased from the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon is upgraded, it will gain an initial damage bonus and a scaling factor that influences other stats. The weapon may also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that provide additional effects or attributes and some even have unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be inserted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment have an available upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from the weapon, armor, or trinket, but it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool for an item.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded with a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Based on the tier of the weapon, this can be done up to four times.
Once the weapon is at max upgrade, it can be reforged using a variety of different upgrade types to improve specific stats or to add bonuses and effects. Many of these upgrades can be applied at once, and their effects differ based on the quality of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage a weapon deals.
It is generally recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, followed by armour defense, then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading any other gear. This helps maximize DPS. This is especially true for enchantments, which can be very effective in boosting the damage of a weapon and other stats.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of certain armor pieces trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. They can also provide other effects, such as an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades are available through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, loot drop or as rewards for quests.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In most cases, a piece of armor can be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. This is the case for any type of armor, but certain items are not upgradeable in any way (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades provide only a slight increase in an item's defense base or strength. Certain upgrade components, however can lead to significant increases in strength or defense. This is especially relevant when upgrading epic items.
Certain upgrades offer special abilities which can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, for instance granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades also provide useful passive effects, such as reducing the amount of damage sustained when wearing armor, or giving you a the chance to avoid attacks.
Upgrades to armor could require several attempts, depending on the type. For example for instance, if a player wants to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an initial defense of 67-77 and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do so players must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations is home to an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief, armor in The Division 2 is not useless. The fact of the matter is that certain armors come with very substantial boosts to poison or curse, fire, or magic damage reduction, making them very useful for certain builds. There are item upgrading to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading the armor, like using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
By placing a potion on a stand for brewing, you will be able to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new level of potion effect and can be repeated for more potency levels.
The potion also gets an individual color code, which the player can choose via /give, and that can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, mundane potions that are thick and awkward now have a new texture for brewing. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness have been added. Addition of lingering potions, which can be made by using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also added is a thick potion which has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Trinket
A trinket is an inexpensive, small ornament or piece jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring, or even a small flag that is used to identify a boat's yard that is lateen. It could also be a reference to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a vessel.
This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more common. At present, this trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more common and gives every floor a Y% chance to contain an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket will cost a small amount of energy.
The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to alter the dungeon's environment by increasing the probability of producing water and grass. This trinket at the current level, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It doesn't affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor or items that are produced to aid in the elimination of hazards rooms.
While it appears like the normal eye of a newt this mysterious object appears to be affecting your vision in ways that go beyond simply reducing your field of view. At the present time, this trinket boosts the overall health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterskins, and wells of health by X%. It also grants the ability to see enemies within Y tiles. This trinket does not stack with the Increased Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave After completing the Mastery Cave, you will be able to find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They cannot be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will create a random effect on the trinket, either increasing its duration or enhancing its effects. You can reorge an item as many times as you like, but it will always have a different effect than the one it was when you first made it.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost 6 energy, but will increase the power of the trinkets by a tiny amount.
